ABOUT DERWIN WARD

Derwin Ward's gospel music journey began in Pascagoula, MS, where he sang in church at just 3 years old. He had a God-giving gift for moving hearts with his singing. When he was 8, he joined Jerry & The Singing Goffs, performing alongside well-known southern gospel artists like The Dixie Echoes, The Oak Ridge Boys and many others.

Derwin has worked in music and ministry full-time since he was 17, pastoring churches in Ohio and California, and speaking at conferences in over 30 countries. He is now the Executive/Worship Pastor at First Assembly in Gastonia, NC, near Charlotte. Derwin and his wife, Terri, have been married for 43 years and have two daughters, Charity and Hannah.
